Oh, I am so glad to have found another avid bird watcher! I am in BC Canada, and the american gold finches have just returned to my back yard feeder, last week. The males are still losing their winter feathers to reveal their bright canary yellow glow. I also get pine siskins, lots of house finches, juncos, chickadees, one lonely red winged blackbird, a red shafted flicker thru the winter, and the odd sparrow. Your pics are just awesome!!

I LOVE birdwatching, and I'm coveting your new birdfeeder! Ironically enough, my favorite little tweeties outside my window are the Black-Capped Chickadees and the Eurasian Wring-Necked Doves… beauties, both of them!

The finches are beautiful! We only get the yard full of blackbirds on occasion. Kinda freaky and very loud.
