At the park

Oh the unfairness of being little.

We’ve been running hither and yon and in between managed to have some fun.

Tess got to experience the slide.

Over and over again.

But once I get a day at home I’ve got a little project planned.

It involves a pattern and some pretty fabric and to tell you the truth I’m kind of afraid to begin for fear I’ll wreck it all. I’ve been reading the instructions over and over again without actually sewing one stitch.

If you have a minute pop over to this post and tell me what your weekend mornings are like. It’s worth a $100 Visa gift card. Someone has to win and it could be you!

Whatcha gonna make? I bought a flat sheet and pillowcase a week or so ago that has a pretty floral print and a turquoise band at the top. I thought it would make great fabric for sundresses for my two youngest girls, and maybe even a skirt for my 10 yo girl to go with. I’m aiming really high for someone who has only made a little bag and sewn a few buttons on in her day….but that’s why I cheaped out on the ‘fabric’ at Goodwill. Just have to get up the nerve to start cutting…..

My last little boy is finally old enough to run with the big boys – but still have my youngest trying to keep up with the big kids…it’s so sad since they are usually such good imitators. Love that playground – it’s so bright and colorful!
