A touch of coolness in the air, a breeze and dry, brown leaves covering the ground makes it feel fallish.
It makes us want to be outside now that the 100 degree stretch of days has broken. Everything that was old is new again.
We go on a nature hunt and find weeds scattering seeds, a snake skin shed and beautiful bugs.
And we know it’s all good.
It’s one of those days when I say Phillipians 4:8 over and over again in my head: true, honest, pure, lovely. Today I need to think on those things. It’s why it’s written on my wall.
They end the day with a little tree climbing. And I end it watching them.
And counting my blessings.
