When we hopped in the car today headed out for a string of errands, my daughter said, “Today is a perfect day for…” and she proceeded to list every wonderful thing you might want to do on a most perfect sunny, 70 degree day. And I agreed with her. It was a perfect day.
I believe that perfect days should not be wasted. They should be spent at the park, on a hike, with friends, under a tree imagining, walking in the woods, fishing, flying kites, reading a good book on a blanket, planting flowers or any number of wonderful things. Feel free to add your own perfect outdoor activity.
And it’s one of my most very favorite thing about homeschooling. We can spend those perfect days doing whatever we want.
