A few things I read this week

How to Whistle With Your Fingers from The Art of Manliness. Love the name of this site and it has some really fun stuff on it. But, I still didn’t learn to whistle with my fingers. Probably because I didn’t practice for 40 minutes. I only practiced until I started getting annoyed with all the spit I was blowing.

What if Your Life Could be More Engaging Than Television by Donald Miller. He says, “Ask yourself before your next major decision “If I were a character in a story, what decision would make the story more interesting?””

Did you ask yourself just now? Did any of the answers scare you?

Waiting for Passion by The Tiny Twig. I think she’s awesome.

The Tiny Twig’s post and Donald Miller’s post went hand-in-hand for me. Tiny Twig talks about how there are seasons for pursuing our “big thing” and for me, each season of my life has been an exciting part that I went into full force and it became a chapter in my story. I spent quite a bit of time thinking about these things yesterday.

The Public School Parent’s Guide to Homeschool Parents from Weird Unsocialized Homeschoolers. All this. So true.

I don’t watch many videos online, but this one is worth your time. If I wanted America to Fail.
