I spent the weekend in Hot Springs with a group of women from my church. These were my roommates, my aunt and cousin.
We spent the morning Friday getting pedicures and manicures then laughing over a long lunch at The Brick House.
Then we split up. Some went shopping, some went to get massages, and Emily and I met up with my friend who lives nearby. She took us junk shopping.
We shopped all the way up until supper. After we finished at the junk shops, we met up with the rest of them at Belk where I actually found a new dress. A rare occurrence.
I have no idea why my aunt took a picture of our shoes. Mine are the sensible shopping shoes.
We had our hearts set on steak at Outback for supper but it was so crowded and we were starving. A small group of us ended up walking to Cracker Barrel. I had pancakes and they were delicious.
The next day we spent at a church at a small conference.
My husband is off this whole week so we are taking our spring break! We’re getting some things cleaned up, getting our taxes done, and hauling out a lot of junk.
But today it was a very rainy day, so we were glad we reserved Tuesday for dye Easter egg day.
