Pazel bay

The three year old calls her Pazel Bay, a 3 year old modified version of Hazel Baby. The rest of us just call her Hazel, or occasionally damn dog.

She really likes it on the couch. It makes her feel like one of the family. And she can really drive me crazy when the kids start running and she starts barking and chasing them. Her herding instinct can’t take the running.

She dreams of getting that succulent guinea pig between her teeth, but those dang bars are always in the way.

And after a bath, there’s nothing better than finding her place as queen of the couch.

Just your typical family pet.

she’s cute.  i love her eyes.  my dog drives me nuts when i am trying to cook and he is always underfoot!

That looks like one happy dog!  And it would be such a tease for my husky if there were a small animal around like that guinea pig.

Those eyes.  I bet she uses them plenty to get her out of trouble.  Is she an Australian Shepherd?  Does that breed shed much? I’ve always been curious about them because I understand they are very, very smart.

I have to hand it to you.  When it comes to your pets, you seem SO INCREDIBLY easy going.  My family is begging for another dog.  We research like crazy.  It just feels like a mountain of a decision to me.  Don’t they hear me yelling enough already??  :-)  Do they really want me yelling at a dog on top of it all??  How do you find time to train a dog??  I’d like to think I’d invent the time, but then again I like to think I’ll find time for extra homeschool subjects and keeping up with laundry too!  :-)  Ha!

    Anyway, she’s a cutie!

yes, australian shepherd. they do shed some, not terribly. they are very smart.

i guess i’ve always loved animals and knew i would have a lot of pets when i grew up. the whole family is involved in the training and my my big girl helps so much with taking care of them.

The second picture in the second to the last row looks as though she can just taste guinea-pig. So close yet so far.
