I’ve decided to dive in and learn something new, Lightroom.
I’ve resisted it for years thinking why add something more complicated when I’ve finally learned Photoshop, but now I’m ready.
I’ve downloaded the free version while I learn. I’m watching Adobe’s teaching videos and slowly learning my way around it.
Here’s one of my first attempts at editing an image in Lightroom.
But I find there is a lot of back and forth work involved. Is it going to make my workflow easier or harder? First you import your images (and it seems slow to import), then edit, then export. Import again if you make any changes in Photoshop and want to bring it back into Lightroom (as I understand it).
I know there are people who love using it and say it has made their workflow faster. And, with time, I may be a believer too. But the learning process is slow.
Do any of you use it and love it? Do you have any advice or favorite tutorials?
