Rear view mirror

happy place

I’m glad to see I am not alone in wishing the comment system via a blog reader needs to be updated. If only Google could hear our collective cries for help (and that kick back Suzanne suggested is not a bad idea at all!)

I’ve added another superb AMC series to my television watching, Breaking Bad. I’m late in the game catching onto this one. I think they are starting season 5. Walter White might just be a decent substitute for Jack Bauer. Ok, he’s missing quite a bit in the looks department, but I love his quiet control. My dilemma will be how to catch up on all the seasons I’ve missed. Since I don’t have hours to devote to sitting and watching an entire series in one day, Netflix may be too costly. I’m debating on just buying it on Amazon. How do you catch up on new shows you want to see?

I adore good book lists. I read this one recently. I always try to jot a few titles down for one of my library trips. My last trip was mostly a disappointment. I got two, possibly 3 books I know I’m not going to finish. It happens. Close the book and move on.

This post includes two of my favorite Instagram pics from the weekend. In both instances, especially the one below, my heart reached for my camera when I saw her hanging out her window in my rear view mirror. But I only had my iPhone. I was initially sad about that, but I snapped it anyway and I love it. It will go into the family album this year.

Our library buys the seasons of a lot of TV shows- easier than getting them from Netflix one DVD at a time (we just got Netflix on demand). Another way to view movies is Amazon Prime- its $80 for the entire year plus you get free shipping all year too :) Since I got my Kindle our library trips are mostly DVDs and books on CD for the kids to listen to at bedtime.
The comments from Google Reader should be much easier. Don’t tell me they don’t have the technology to make it happen…

Thanks for the link! :) Happy to see that you put books down. Makes me crazy when people finish bad books – there are too many good books out there to waste the time!

As for tv- recently we got Hulu Plus for 1 month only. Cost us $8, and we watched tv like crazy, so we got in a whole season of Modern Family and a whole season of Once Upon a Time. Now we’re ready for the new seasons.

I love that rear view mirror pic! Those impulse pictures I take of my kids always end up being my favorites:)

Have you watched Person of Interest at all? I rank John in that series right up there with Jack B.
