iPCU anonymous for short. I can’t stop! I love my iPhone camera. I love sharing on Instagram. I’m an addict.
For those of us who love our digital SLR cameras and all the fancy lenses that come with it, it kind of does feel like a dirty secret to be using my camera phone so often.
When I first started using Instagram and I saw some of the pictures my friends were posting I was blown away by how good they were. Now, granted some of them were using iPhone 4 and 4S and I was still using my 3S, so I though part if it was due to the advances in the camera, but then I upgraded to the iPhone 4 and soon began to find out about camera and editing apps that could really make your pictures amazing. It’s still so incredible to me to that some of the most beautiful images I’ve seen this year from other photographers were taken with an iPhone.
And I may be even more amazed that almost half the pictures I take of my own family adventures are done with my iPhone.
I feel like I’m just beginning to learn my way around editing an iPhone photo. Your personal style can really come through just like it does with a regular camera. Currently, my favorite camera apps are Snapseed and VSCO CAM. I’ve been thinking about getting procamera, but I haven’t done it yet.
This year I’ve taken so many pictures with my iPhone that I plan to include them in our family album at the end of the year. It will be my first time to print my phone photos.
Remember when I first told you about the iPhone Photography ebook? After reading it I discovered some new editing apps and learned some tricks on saving and posting my photos from my iPhone. If you’re just starting out or want to know more, I highly recommend Alli’s book. I’m an affiliate, so I get a few bucks when you buy it. You can become an affiliate too. I love how she’s set things up to make it even more fun to share her book. Very clever marketing.
You can purchase your own copy for $9.97 or you can win one today by leaving a comment!
Any old comment will do, but if you happen to be on Instagram, I’d love for you to leave your user name so I can follow you. Perhaps you’d like to join iPCU anonymous with me.
