I love browsing websites for new art project ideas. Painted Paper is a new one I stumbled upon. This project looked like something all the kids would enjoy.
It involves a few steps since you actually paint your construction paper first, then let it dry. You also use coffee filters for the centers, which need to be painted. It all requires a bit more patience than the three year old had.
Cutting out petals and vases required my assistance for the younger ones.
But the end result was quite beautiful and a lot of fun.
I love having kids’ art on display.
