Well hello there Saturday readers! I’m just popping in real quick between projects. I’ve been stricken with a strange surge of energy which caused me to paint the kids’ bathroom yesterday and today deep clean and rearrange my son’s room. Do you think they started adding vitamins to Coke? It’s like I suddenly started eating green vegetables or something.
Look, I finally was able to wear my brown skinny pants after they hung in my closet a good 3 weeks after I bought them. I took a picture to make sure it all looked ok. It was very hard for me to coordinate that color. I’m colored jeans challenged.
Last week I was completely caught up on laundry since like September, and it felt fabulous. But now I’m behind again.
I’m reading The Passage and finding it difficult to get through. It is a huge book because it’s large print (I’m 43!) and it’s so heavy, but also it just seems to be moving slow. Have any of you read it? Should I tough it out?
Also, I gave up on A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court with the girls. After several chapters it just became unbearable to read aloud. They picked The Hobbit instead and so we are into that now. I’m on book 3 of The Indian in the Cupboard with my son and while he is enjoying it, I am not impressed with the two sequels. The first book was very good, but the other two are making my head hurt.
And now my sitting down time is over. Time to get up and tackle another project while the force is with me.
