I picked up this rustic framed screen at a yard sale last summer and loved it but had no idea what I would do with it. It sat around unused for many months. But last week I had an idea and for once, I had all the tools handy to make my idea happen.
I had this very handy box of assorted hanging things. (To use the technical term 
).
I hung the frame and started nailing these assorted hangers in place. Some right through the screen and into the wall, some from the top of the wooden screen and some from the sides.
I kept adding stuff until I had a place for all my jewelry pieces. Except for the pearl bracelets which the blue goose loves to wear around her neck. Makes her feel pretty.
I love having my jewelry handy for putting on and taking off (which I do immediately when I get home). Prior to this I threw it all in a big bowl. This was tricky for my necklaces which tended to tangle.
This way I can easily grab it and also see it all the time. It’s pretty and functional.
